Recovery from exercise

I had a week off running due to illness, but now I’m back and straight back up to speed……….

You don’t lose fitness because you aren’t knocking out those runs that your training plan demands, stop worrying about it, have a break, recover!

It happens every time for me, I have a week off exercise for some reason and when I get back into training, I come back quicker.
