change my swim stroke

I need to improve my swimming, I’m not bad, but I’m not great.

A while ago, I downloaded the app from SwimSmooth but didn’t really do much with it.

This morning I decided to try it out and work on my stroke.

It was difficult at first, I’ve been swimming since I was a child and old habits are hard to shift.

but, I stuck with it and after several laps it began to come together! It felt great, really smooth.

I still need to work on breathing though, as I roll to take a breath the whole stroke goes to pot.

One thing I did notice though was that I didn’t seem to need to take a breath as often, I seemed to be gliding and using less effort.
